CHAPTER 1Once again, the students are scattered everywhere in the school. At this time of the year, peace and serenity will make no sense. That means summer is over, which also means, another headache for me. I'm telling you, I never liked my school being swarmed by different incomprehensible beings mixed together. Though it won't make any difference since some students will rather stay in the school dorms than staying with their own families. But a few is always better than having all students in school all at once if we're talking about gaining peace.
But, do I really have a say in that? In the eyes of ordinary people, my school will definitely look normal. Well, a lot richer-looking; the establishment is always mind-blowing and equipped with different amenities every student can ever need. Now, who won’t want to stay in that kind of luxury all summer? Sounds like any normal high class school, right? But nope, my school is never built for just anybody; not even for some random rich kids. True, my school is huge, larger than any schools human had ever built and seems having its par soon enough is impossible. But then, my school has been kept away from the public, from the prying ordinary eyes. Because as I am, the students here are not the type you just want to be stuck in the middle with. They aren't that friendly. True, they can be friendly but it is for the sake of their hunger. They will befriend you, lure you in and eat you without remorse. That is the main reason why the school has been kept somewhere no weak human can go. We never want to hurt, but nonetheless, we are born to hunt...it is instincts at work. We may have come from different kinds; it's like saying humans come from different continents -- the Americans, Europeans, Asians, Africans, Australians and wherever else... but for us, the comprehension of having to come from different kinds take more than your brain to process. Let's just say that the leaders of this school are more than insane to keep five different kinds in the same place but aren't they almost right too? The biggest defense to any danger is immunity. That should have been enough of a reason why the two great leaders made this school in the first place. Vampires, do they really exist? I believe so. I walk with them every single day in the halls, in classes and even the general bathrooms. They're everywhere... and they're ruthless. Lucky enough, I’m not like them. Angels, fairies, aliens, out-of-the-world beings (or simply called Ethereal Beings), are they on Earth's surface now too? Would highly think so too. I see them everyday. And every single day, I will gape at their ethereal beauty...breathless. But doesn’t the saying go that every beauty has its hideous side too... like every light has its own darkness? Even so, it is kind of frustrating I’m not like them either. Demons... I’ve always thought they are real. They are the Archfiends, guardians of darkness. The great force of all sins. Mischief, I know that well enough. I see their arrogance every now and then...and they've never changed. They will never change. They are still evil. Remain so for eternity beyond. Good enough, I’m not one of them. It is then all categories revert back to humans. But as I said, my school isn't for the ordinary, so how will they survive mingling around those oddities I mentioned just now without being something else themselves? Sure, technically they are humans but they aren't dumb enough to mix with all the odds without having even the slightest defense. Because of this, the fact that them being humans are already fading. The more they seek for power, the less human they become. Wiccans, witches, wizards, voodoos - generally referred to as Tinkers in school are no longer considered humans in emotions. It’s too bad, but I should know no compassion for them for I am not of their kind. So what am I? A shape-shifter. Human, one moment; a beast, the next. I won't talk positively about myself because my kind and I may seem better than the rest but I see no difference in every sense. I can be cruel, I can be compassionate, I can be anything else like how I can be any beast I desire to be. One thing my kind has in common with the rest of the odds, every single one of us has a beast inside of us. It's there, may be hidden but it has always been there. Some are unlucky to be unable to tame it, bringing themselves in utter demise but none of us wanted that to happen to ourselves. Though we may sound well able and powerful alone but in all honesty, we need help...we need to be educated just how to control our own beast. The school is here and it offers just that. It's still not just for anybody though. Not even for you. Unless you are one of us, are you? ~*~*~ “I know you probably hate having the school populated like this again...” “No, mother... I should be too used of this by now,” the young shifter said, though he knew lying was never an option when it came to this foster parent of his. He watched quietly as she looked at him with those pretty olive green eyes. Her lips carved into thin lines as if sensing his obvious lie; she was sharp. The white-grey hair she had tied at the back of her head in a ponytail bounced as she spoke. “Son, this year you have to be very careful,” she warned, a whispered caution. “I am. Always have, mother,” the young lad answered solemnly. “Hyukjae,” she said the name like a breath of fresh air. Almost begging. “This year is different.” The young man, Hyukjae sighed. This mother was always the worrywart between the two. “How could it be any different from the previous years, mother?” “We have a very special student coming this year,” her voice was serious now, a sharp warning that she was not joking. Worry did not even begin to explain how she felt that moment. “I want you to stay away from this student.” Raising his brows questioningly, he opened his mouth to answer but someone else got there before him. “Oh, that’s the lamest warning you can ever come up with, my twin,” a new voice interrupted. “Now, our little boy will even be more curious than ever. He‘s not gonna stop digging up until he finds out.” “Mother...” Hyukjae sighed yet again. “Hey, little Hyukkie,” his other mother yawned. “Why are you two up so early?” “Late, you mean?” Monshie frowned disapprovingly. From the side, he watched the two interact. These two women were twins, identical and they were his foster mothers. Long story short, the twins found him and adopted him as their own. He had been with them ever since. It was such a blessing to say it shortly. Monshie was the older twin, the first one he was talking with earlier. With eyes of green olive, white-grey hair and pale complexion. The other and younger twin, was Hyerin. Mischievous with eyes of liquid crimson mixed with amber, and fiery red hair. Both looked younger than their actual age. Much, much younger than their two hundred and twenty one. More often than none, they were mistaken for siblings instead of mothers and son. Although it might be due to the fact that beasts did not age once they reached a certain age. A stage of maturity that made them age slower if possible. Some even developed capabilities of their own to stop themselves from aging. If Hyukjae was a shape-shifter, his mothers were different. Monshie was a vampire while Hyerin was a demon. How that happened, no one knew. There was so much mystery surrounding the twins but none dared to ask or question. Hyukjae did not know any better either. He did not have any interest. Maybe it was the same reason why they started this school in the first place. Yes, Hyukjae’s mothers were the headmistresses of the school. They sounded insane to put up all the odds in one school but then, Hyukjae, like his mothers believed that the greatest defence was immunity. The more one interacted with other kinds, the more immune they become. It was risky business. But it was even riskier of them to adopt a shape-shifter for a son when they did not even know where he came from though it did not seem to worry his parents. Not even one bit. They loved him dearly and it was enough. “So, were you listening, Hyukjae?” Monshie repeated, lips thinning even more. Unsure, Hyukjae still nodded. “Monshie here thinks you better stay in your dorm for now, unless necessary,” Hyerin scoffed. “So, can you just say yes so she can stop worrying?” “Yes.” Smiling, Hyerin went over to pat her son’s head playfully. “For the record, you don’t need to stay in that overgrown dorm of yours. She doesn’t need to know that.” “Hey! I designed that dorm!” the older twin complained. “And yes, I can still hear you two!” The younger twin, Hyerin, just smirked. “Good then.” Choking back the argument she had, she turned back to look at Hyukjae instead. “Now, off you go. You still have to meet up with your head-teacher.” “Oh right. Bye then,” Hyukjae nodded, as he strode towards the door. “Aren’t you forgetting something?” Hyerin called, a grin set on her lips. Hyukjae popped his head back through the door and smiled. “Love you, mothers.” “Love you too, darlin’.” Monshie called. “Love you, brat.” Hyerin waved a hand as she was halfway reading through the new students. “Be careful of the vamps. They are just too many this year...” No point in arguing, so he just nodded. This was not the first time he was given a warning to keep clear of the vampires. In fact, every single day he was always reminded of it. However, that coming from Hyerin was quite unusual. His mother was a proud demon; one who believed no one could outwit her kind. So the warning coming from her seemed a bit ridiculous. Nevertheless, she was no weakling. She did not make it this far if she was a weak demon. “Must he bring an entire battalion with him...? Like seriously? As if he’s entering a warzone and not a fucken’ school, that dim-witted bloodsucker,” Hyerin ranted in an undertone, almost tearing the students list in her unforgiving hands. “You can’t blame him, Hyerin ah. It must be the first time he’ll be away from home. He needs all the protection he can get,” Monshie reasoned. “As if he’s— hang on! Monshie, you’re liking this because he’s under Blood-Thirsty! Don’t you?” Hyerin pointed accusingly. Whereas, Monshie only tried to suppress the wicked smile on her lips but failed to do so as she let out a heady sigh. She then looked at the frozen Hyukjae at the door, “Aren’t you off already?” Hyukjae gasped dramatically and feigned innocence for staying longer to eavesdrop. He flashed his gummy smile and saluted to his mothers before leaving for real this time. That was before he came face-to-face with the head-teacher of the vampires. Bowing, he greeted her. “Good morning, Miss Eosinred.” “Oh, isn’t this our cute, Hyukjae?” Trying not to seem flustered without looking cautious, he simply looked at her. After all, vampires and shape-shifters were never the best of friends. Even though this vampire teacher had proven herself harmless, she as still a vampire and he was still a shape-shifter. Clearing his throat, he said, “Thanks.” “Hmmm...” the teacher advanced a little towards Hyukjae, her focus unwavering as she studied him. “Where are you off to?” Holding his ground, he would not let her see him as a cornered prey. He could not appear to be intimidated by her. Hyukjae would not let that happen. “To the Forest Haven,” he said honestly, speaking of the shape-shifters’ dorm. “Oh, should’ve guessed,” Eosinred flashed a smile, fangs in full display. “Where else would you go?” “Unnie!” The voice made him sigh in relief. He turned to see his older mother, Monshie poking her head out of the office. “Hyuk, go now.” “Awww...you made it sound like I’m going to bite him” the head-teacher pouted. “Nah, you’re just being your pedo self,” Hyerin shook her head. “Meanie,” Eosinred muttered but asked, “Why did you call again?” It was Monshie who answered this time, “We need to discuss something about this particular student of yours for this year. Come inside.” She looked pass the vampire again at her son. “Hyukkie, for the umpteenth time, please...off you go.” Nodding, Hyukjae left but his mind could not seem to wrap itself around the peculiar thing that just happened. What were his mothers fussing about? There were always new students every year from every odds, what was so special about this one? Even though he wondered as much, it did not get far because he kept on being distracted by the school’s surrounding. It was not much but he could not just ignore everything that was happening around the place. Hyukjae came to a stop at The Circle. The Circle was the heart of the entire school; the center-point which linked every other exit leading out to other parts of the campus. There was no escaping it. In order to get from one place to another, one just has to pass it. Several long feet above hung the large, crystal dome that made up the roof above the circular fountain christened the Circle. Little spherical crystals were stacked together and held up by what some of them believed was Tinker-magic because there was no way how such fragile things could hold themselves up on their own. Let alone not break after so long. At the top of the fountain lay the shield of each of the five odds topped by the school’s official emblem. Each crystal of which was color-coordinated according to each odd. It was also the inevitable meeting place for all odds, whether they liked it or not. A battle of egos from all five odds but never to do any harm to one another for The Circle was the neutral point of the school. The unspoken rule each and every single student obeyed without question. Not that anyone would dare question the fearsome duo that their headmistresses were. Just around the confinement of The Circle lay eight doors. The northern door would instantly lead to the dwelling place of the demons, the archfiends’ ever proud South Castle. It was said darkness blanketed the place but other odds refused to step foot in the vicinity, or even approach the door. After all, they had their allure and a bad encounter with a demon could lead you straight to the pits of hell. Even the vampires stayed away. Maybe they thought themselves better, but others claimed even so it was out of fear of the unknown as well. Directly opposite, stood southern door leading to the shape-shifters’ dorm, their Forest Haven. Behind the door was an entire landscape of wild, untouched forest except for the shifters themselves. A long bridge hung perilously over the huge lake below that was planked between two cliffs where the water shifters would usually be found. Just across was where the Forest Haven could be found, covered in massive amounts of overgrowth and greeneries. Shifters felt the happiest in their natural habitat, so that was the reason why the dorm existed in such state. On the remaining points of the compass were the doors leading to the Eastern and Western Towers. The eastern door led to the Purple East Tower where the Tinkers lived. They were well-known for their eccentricity, wittiness as well as good hands in magic. Potions and spells? Tinkers did it all. It was their expertise. Cloaked almost entirely in various shades of purple, their tower could be considered the grandest structure within the campus. Though it was because they had magic to spare to uphold such beautiful edifice in the wake of the clashing of all odds. From the door to the tower, the hallway was lined with crystalline purple glass, illuminating the entrance in a violet gloom. The door to the west was the entrance to the Glass Tower where the Ethereals had their immaculate, fragile humble abode. Almost entirely made up of glass, their dorm was build up as a structure sticking up high into the sky, living up to their name of being out of this world. Maybe they needed to be close to the sky, if not space. Just like the odd, their home held other-worldly beauty. The sheer beauty of the building would strike any normal being dumb. As beautiful as the Tinkers’ tower could be, the Ethereals definitely knew how to make the Tinkers run for their magic. Most of time, the Glass Tower would always be camouflaged by the fluffy, white clouds. All the remaining doors led to the Great Hall, classrooms where lessons were held, spare rooms for when needs might be necessary and lastly, the Great Entrance. But there was one exit that was not counted in the eight doors. It was simply called the Vampire Staircase or to most, the eyesore of The Circle, which led to the dungeons where the vampires stayed. They were proud of their secrecy and it was said they were living lavishly underneath the very ground they walked on. God knew what went on down there, Hyukjae hated to think about it. Just the thought itself made him shiver. “When ye here, desert ye self. Thus, we become equal,” Hyukjae chanted the well-versed words under his breath. That was a definite rule. All odds met in The Circle, hence everyone must return to their human forms. Equality. Nobody was allowed to show the beast side of them. Just like Shifters were not allowed to be in their animal forms there until they were out of the general area. Sighing, he faced north, making a beeline for his dorm. He was almost to the door when someone else came out. Like a pelting grey bullet, it came shooting out of there that he was afraid the beast would not be able to stop in time for The Circle. His worry was futile of course. They had better control than that. Hyukjae watched as the huge Timberwolf slowly began to take human from. In matters of seconds, a human in all his naked glory sat crouching on the floor. To their left, a few girl students gasped and giggled from the other side of The Circle by the sudden display. Must be from the Tinkers; those Tinker ladies loved hanging around The Circle just to spot some transforming Shape-shifters. What do you know, Shape-shifters were just comfortable naked in their own skin. And Tinkers just loved taking advantage of that. “Hyukkie ah, head-teacher is looking for you.” Hyukjae nodded. “Thanks, Kibum ah.” He watched Kibum taking a black coat from the wall and covered himself. The distaste of being covered immediately after transforming was so visible on his face. Hyukjae knew that feeling. If he could go all day being naked, it was definitely heaven but they did not own the school for themselves so they needed to practice the art of clothing. “Hurry,” Kibum said but his gaze went past Hyukjae’s shoulder. “The fucking proud bastards...” A snarl. Following Kibum’s gaze, Hyukjae caught sight of three dark figures ascending from the dungeons. Their features poised. He recognized one of them as the head student of the vampires, Yunho. Though the boy himself was not a troublemaker, but he still bore the air of arrogance only vampires could ever achieve. They carried themselves in a way that only aristocrats would, which of course they believed themselves be among the odds. Their eyes were flaming red, glinting in the light. They always feigned ignorance when they came across other odds in The Circle. Not that any of them cared, for they never wanted to be associated with those who would not even make an effort to attempt the same gesture of kindness. As soon as they reached The Circle, their eyes turned a dull human color. Even vampires obeyed the rule, which Hyukjae was sure his mothers would be very proud of. Shrugging, he left. He did not want to be caught ogling. Not by a bunch of bloodsuckers who thought themselves worthy to be worshipped. Stepping into the shifters’ natural surroundings was heaven for him. Their unbelievably sensitive animal senses would never be pricked with those that they did not desire to come in contact with. Here they could be themselves, no inhibitions. A rustle nearby and he could see a sleek fox frolicking by the garden, chasing after a butterfly hovering just a little above the ground. “Hi there, Jinyoung,” he greeted the fox like a human would to another. The fox was no longer there, instead a young boy appeared. His feline eyes scrutinizing the face of the older one. “Hi hyung. Head teacher’s looking for you, I’ve heard.” “I’m heading for the office now,” Hyukjae assured with a nod. “Good luck, hyung,” Jinyoung returned the gesture before returning to his fox form. Moving further into the overgrown archway, he soon found himself outside of the head teacher’s office. Unlike his mothers’ office, this was more modest. No grandeur but it felt like home. Maybe it was all the greens around, and the rose shrubs that lined the little veranda outside to make the place even more beautiful in the eyes of the animals that they were. Cautiously, he knocked on the door. “Come in.” Taking in a deep breath, he turned the knob and the door creaked open on its hinges. He stepped inside the room, the smell of fresh soil and herbs hitting his nose. His eyes shifted to the figure standing over a line of potted plants by the wide window on the other end of the room. He coughed to get the other’s attention. Turning around, the woman’s features came into sharp relief. “Hyukjae. I’m expecting you,” she said serenely, voice deep yet like a gentle caress in the wind. “I was told. Quite a few times too,” Hyukjae said honestly. The golden hair cascaded down her heart-shaped face where it was left loose, while the rest of it was styled to look like leaves from wild ferns. How it stayed up like that, Hyukjae had not the foggiest idea. Her robes were of a striking orange, partnered with golden and brown streaks alternately. The color of nature during fall. Hyukjae waited for the woman to say something more. “Is there anything you would like to say to me, Miss Sae?” he asked politely. “Nothing much,” the head teacher, Sae tore her gaze away from the plants only to gaze out the open window. “I’m sure your mothers, Hyerin especially, has warned you beforehand about the new student.” “Indeed,” he said passively. “Vampires,” the words were spat out with so much distaste. “As if we don’t have enough as it is, the prince of them all just has to come. Those arrogant blighters, they think they’re the best among us odds? Hah.” Her expression softened right after. “We have to be careful this time Hyukjae. I don’t know what’s going on but our relationship with the vampires isn’t exactly at the most tip-top condition. We need to warn our students.” “Understood,” Hyukjae nodded. His sentiments exactly. ~*~*~ The Great Arc Hall was abuzz as all the students and faculty members took their respective seats. Each and every odd gathered during the welcoming ceremony. It was a school tradition as it was with normal beings. To make the freshmen feel welcomed in their new surroundings. The acceptance that came with it was maybe what they were aiming for, Hyukjae had once thought. After all, they were all for equality in order to gain the immunity they all wanted. Scanning the interior, Hyukjae could see the new students of the shape-shifters fiddling with their clothes, looking uncomfortable in their second skin. It was a given but they could do nothing about that since it was regulations. As one of the oldest students in the school, he was seated on the top-most level of the hall. The design was akin to that of an opera hall, each level filled with students according to the amount of time they had spent in the school. Seniority counted. Tearing his eyes away from the shape-shifters, he let his eyes gaze wander to his left. The Tinkers were busy chattering away in low tones; giggling now and again. The new ones’ eyes sparkled with interest as they took in the design of the hall. Along the same row as he and his best friend, Junsu were sitting sat the infamous Kims, Heechul and Jaejoong. Their pets, Heebum and Jiji were lounging regally in their laps, just looking as aloof as their owners. To their right sat the Archfiends, Ethereals and vampires at the farthest end of the hall. All the faculty members sat on the stage, watching over the students with unblinking eyes. Making sure that nobody dared make any trouble. Of course, there were always a couple of handfuls who thought to start the new term with a blast and getting themselves into trouble seemed to be at the top of their list. They had to be punished accordingly. “Hyukkie, look,” Junsu whispered, gesturing towards the farthest end to their right. Following his best friend’s gaze, his eyes landed on a group of vampires just entering the hall. Yunho stood from his seat to greet the group. A face, unfamiliar but held an aristocratic air. More arrogant than any other vampires in the school. Surpassing Yunho’s arrogance even. “He looks new,” Junsu commented in an undertone. “What the hell is he doing up here? Isn’t he supposed to be down there?” “I don’t know,” Hyukjae frowned. He wanted to ignore the scene and just busy himself by staring at the freshmen down at the main floor. Having to attend the welcoming ceremony for many years, he was already bound to already predict which odd a freshman would be in. Most of them were aggressive, untamed and prideful. He loved that about them. They surely needed the education his mothers’ school had to offer to learn to co-exist with the five odds. Sighing, he looked straight pass the freshmen students and found really intriguing expressions on the faculty members. Ethereal faculty members seemed worried but still hid it underneath their alluring beauty. Archfiends faculty also had this guarded expression that it was not there for hundreds of years, they always thought they had nothing to worry about but now, they looked different. Tinkers always made Hyukjae’s head burn realizing which place they were aiming for but as usual, they had this expression that they would just go with the flow – always care-free. To the right of the Tinkers faculty members were the faculty members of shape-shifters. Sae, the head-teacher of shape-shifters looked aggravated for no reason. Hyukjae briefly wondered if it had something to do with the fuss his mothers were having earlier in the morning and the little cautions his head-teacher reminded him of just shortly after. Instantly, he remembered what Sae said from earlier. Hyukjae’s breath hitched for a moment. Was he stupid or what? Or was he even listening to what Sae had said? The prince had come? He initially just thought she was just talking figuratively but the Prince literally joined the school? If that was the case, then that would explain the oddness of everyone’s action today. “That’s the vampire royal prince...” Hyukjae whispered to Junsu. “And so I heard.” Junsu replied. “Huh?” Junsu’s face looked amused but not for long because Hyukjae could hear aggression in his words, “I don’t know if you’re mentally present or not, Hyuk. Just listen to everyone here.” Hyukjae was taken aback by Junsu’s sudden change of mood but did as told. He listened and yes, could he be more unaware of this. Everyone from the topmost level of the Great Arc Hall wa whispering about the sudden appearance of a group of vampires earlier. Words traveled so fast it must have gone down to the lower levels. “Can’t believe he’s here,” the Kim Jaejoong from Tinkers said in a hushed whisper. “I never heard of the Prince ever leaving the palace. I’ve heard he’s home schooled.” “I don’t care,” Kim Heechul countered. “He’s kind of hot though. You know, it actually reminds me about the potion we were working on the whole summer. Think it’s perfect for the prince?” Giggling. “I thought headmistress Hyerin confiscated it?” Jaejoong asked, confused. A mischievous laugh. “What do you take me for? Of course, I’ve got a spare flask with me.” He said and instantly looked at Hyukjae’s direction, glaring at him. “What, are you gonna tell us to your mommaaa?” Hyukjae just gave them a weird look showing he did not care about the shits they did. Quickly, he looked away and found the subject of the big fuss. His brow furrowed in disgust as he took in the sight of the now seated prince along the rows of senior vampires. He even sat right next to the head-student of blood-thirsty, Yunho. The Prince was not any different from the rest of the vampires, except everyone knew he was royalty. He had human brown eyes, his fangs were pulled back to their confinement –surely the Prince knew the rules of the school already as if he had been attending the school for years. He definitely did not have the look of a new comer, was this the same reason why his mothers allowed him to mix with the seniors up the Arc? “I heard he’s already exempted to all Blood-Thirsty core subjects. He’s only here for general subjects. We might get a chance to bump into him in classes,” Junsu explained. Hyukjae couldn’t figure out if Junsu’s excited or angry about it. But it should be the latter, because after all, Shape-shifters hated vampires’ guts. Once more, Hyukjae ignored, or tried to. He still looked at the prince with his midnight dark hair. The prince seemed to be deep in thought, quiet and reserved. He wasn’t even bothered that most of the eyes were on him even the gossips are all about him. It confused Hyukjae to the point it made his stomach sick. He let out a groan, his expression pained. Yet once again, he ignored it and looked down again to only witness the headmistresses’ eyes were on him. They both looked worried. Hyukjae eyed them back telling them he was okay. Really, his mothers were sometimes silly aside from being terrors most of the time. He smiled at them and without him knowing, he diverted his eyes and looked to the left where the Blood-Thirsty sat. His eyes were on him. Hyukjae instantly stopped breathing for a couple of seconds. The prince’s and his eyes met, locked and deep. Hyukjae wanted to question, wanted to look away, wanted to hide but he couldn’t... he couldn’t even think of doing so. It was as if the Prince’s answer on this serene thought earlier is him, Hyukjae. Hyukjae watched the unmoving stare, and Hyukjae had to admit that the Prince had the most confusing eyes – could a vampire possess a pair of expressive eyes surrounded by sorrow? Aside from the undeniable mask of vampire on the Prince, in Hyukjae’s eyes, the Prince looked like a puppy... a sad and a lost puppy. As he thought like that, he saw the Prince’s change of expression. The prince suddenly broke the contact and chuckled to himself, amused. Was it possible a vampire can read minds? “I’m going crazy, aren’t I?” Hyukjae asked, more to himself than to his best friend. “Having a connection already, ae?” Junsu said bitterly. “Thought you should know, his name is Donghae and he already completed the vampire subject of Seduction; The Crimson Desire. I believe he just used it on you, darlin’. That jerk.” “Hmm,” Hyukjae was left confused, “Why on me though?” “I wonder...” Junsu replied sarcastically, “Might be of the same reason as of most of the school population tries to seduce you.” “But I can’t get pregnant!” Hyukjae dramatically said and laughed hilariously, joking at the situation that bothers him deep down. “Oh come on, stop it and let’s ignore the jerk.” And a few minutes passed, the tension and the intimidating appearance of the Vampire Prince eased up and the ceremony resumed just like the previous years and years before. |
