“Jinyounggie! I'm so bored,” I whined to one of our head boys as the other shape-shifters decorated our dorm for the celebration we're going to have for the month of April.
April, our campus's Shape-shifters' Month as they say – all because of our oh-so-great leader's birth date, senior Hyukjae. Well, I don't think he's that good, maybe just the headmistresses' son, but that's all that, or I just don't know him that much. Whatever.
“Why not just help us instead, Jae hoobae?” Jinyoung said as his eyes shot daggers at me, his hands on his hips and head tilted on one side. I laughed hard, he looked like an old lady scolding a spoiled brat which I'm not. Oh no, I am not a spoiled brat.
I sighed and laid on the table I was sitting on before looking sidewards at hearing the familiar sound of Senior Junsu's playful voice. I grinned and immediately changed to my animal form and flew to sit on my favorite senior's shoulder.
“Oh hey there, Jae!” Senior Junsu winked as he stroked my pink feathers while I tweeted loudly. “Still lively as ever, eh?” he teased as he held me by his arm. He gently put me on Jinyoung's head before going to Senior Hyukjae's abode. “Need to meet Hyukkie, guys. Do well on the decorations!”
Jinyoung groaned as he shook his head aggressively, making me fall down in the process.
I flapped my wings immediately and harshly pecked his forehead before going to rest on one of the big branches of a nearby tree, my favorite tree that no one else must touch, or else they'll feel my wrath.
“Geez!” Jinyoung shouted from below as I changed back to my human form and got my silk red cloak before wearing it to cover my nude body. It was uncomfortable but I had to do it, especially if I wanted to stay in this campus as long as I live.
I snorted at Jinyoung and replied playfully, swinging my head side to side to increase his irritation, “Oh, my dear Jinyounggie,” I sang and smirked. “Do you think Saem would be happy to see you slacking around?”
He narrowed his eyes into slits and stuck his tongue out at me. I feint shock before laughing so loud that everyone inside the room looked at me with both amusement and curiosity in their faces.
Oh, how daily life goes around here in our lively home.

A dominant feathered creature – a bird, specifically an eagle – from the Southeastern Clan.
She was one of the unique creatures from her clan since her feathers were pink, which was an unusual occurrence, especially when you're one of the eagles.
